Project Auditing
Measure – Evaluate – Learn
A structured project audit can be useful not only at the end of a project, but also during its execution. In this process, we assess whether the project is progressing according to plan or what is required to keep it on track.
A project audit can be tailored to project-specific requirements or already be an integral part of an existing, company-specific project management system. For this purpose, LogistikPlan uses, among other tools, IPMA Delta®, a tool developed by IPMA for assessing the maturity level of projects using an assessment methodology.
► Our approach:
1. Analysis
- Determination of the current status and resources consumed to date
- Identification of potential deviations from plan (schedule, costs, performance)
- Analysis of strengths and weaknesses
2. Evaluation
- Assessment of opportunities and risks
- Derivation of conclusions and concrete optimization measures
- Preparation of a catalogue of measures
3. Transfer
- Lessons learned meeting
- Initiation of corrective actions
- Support during implementation
► Results of the consultancy:
- For completed projects, we provide clarity regarding target/actual deviations
- For ongoing projects, a status review is carried out. Both qualitative results as well as quantitative metrics and costs are evaluated.
- In all cases, the transfer of audit results takes place in order to leverage important learning effects.
