The pace sets the tone

In the area of tension between one-off production and mass production, the boundaries are increasingly shifting.

While machinery and plant manufacturers understandably dream of achieving the highest possible batch sizes, the automotive industry is pursuing the opposite path: each product is individually configured and assembled. Batch size “one” has meanwhile become standard practice on assembly lines.

LogistikPlan’s core service areas:

  • We support growth-oriented companies in expanding their factory capacities as well as in modernization and rationalization.
  • To optimize organically grown structures and heterogeneous processes, we initiate standardization in production, assembly, and logistics.
  • The optimization of changeover processes is a classic lever for creating greater flexibility in order control.
  • Once changeover times are under control, continuous takt-based production can be introduced: the supreme discipline of production logistics is lean and synchronized with customer takt.
  • Automation and robotics continue to advance: thanks to declining automation costs in industrial series production, we can increase the degree of automation across an ever-growing range of production steps.
  • This benefits not only your quality management and controlling functions. An increasingly aging workforce is grateful as well! After all, ergonomics matter just as much in the executive chair as they do on the shop floor.
